Kick termites out and keep them from coming back. Talos delivers proven treatment options — local treatment, fumigation, and prevention — backed by licensed termite specialists and clear inspection findings for San Diego homes.
Why termite control matters in San Diego
Southern California is one of the most termite-active regions in the country. San Diego homes are especially vulnerable due to the climate, geography, and construction style common across the county.
Climate
Warm temperatures year-round sustain termite activity in every season.
Geography
Coastal humidity and moisture along San Diego neighborhoods encourage colonies.
Construction
Older construction with exposed or untreated wood is especially vulnerable.
Pest Type
Drywood termites that do not require soil contact are common across the region.

Fumigation

Baiting
Year-round control and monitoring of subterranean termites through strategically placed baiting systems around the property.

Termites may be small, but their impact on your property can be devastating. Their tiny size allows them to remain undetected — by the time signs appear, the damage may already be extensive and costly to repair.
Door Frames
A common entry point due to their proximity to wood and ground.
Areas with Moisture
Termites thrive in damp environments, making moisture and groundwater areas prime targets.
Roof, Attic & Eaves
Overlooked spaces where termites can cause hidden, extensive damage.
Windows
Wooden frames and sills provide an inviting food source for foraging termites.

What San Diego homeowners say about our termite control
“Great experience with Talos - knowledgeable, thorough in their inspections and convenient to schedule everything. I appreciate their honesty when it came to recommendations on what we should do. We will be using them as our regular termite guys for our properties!”
“Joey showed up as expected and completed termite treatments as promised in a thorough manner. He completed everything in a professional way and interacted with the contractor on the job as a competent and confident worker. Talos is a top-notch company employing people with integrity.”
“Joey was excellent as our termite inspector. He arrived right on time and took the effort to explain every step of the process in clear, straightforward terms. His knowledge of termites and potential issues was impressive, and he conducted the inspection with complete professionalism. Another company had recommended full fumigation, but after Joey's thorough inspection—and considering our last fumigation was only five years ago—he offered a targeted alternate solution that saved us thousands of dollars. I'd highly recommend Joey to anyone needing a reliable, honest termite check.”
“Wonderful company, that knows how to manage termite issues. They are prompt and know their business. They quoted a fair price, I am a disabled senior citizen so honesty means a lot. Thank you Talos”
